Meet Dr. Charles Ronan
Dr. Charles Ronan serves as the clinical director of BVA Advanced Eye Care in Oklahoma City South, overseeing the Norman and Shawnee areas. He earned his doctorate of optometry from the Indiana University School of Optometry and completed internships at several prestigious eye institutes across the country. His optometry training also includes a residency focused on ocular disease at BVA Advanced Eye Care, where he worked under the mentorship of Dr. Larry Henry.
Dr. Ronan has contributed to the field through publications inOptometric Office MagazineandOptometric Management Magazine, with research interests that include acute retinal necrosis, macular telangiectasia, and dacryoadenitis & dermolipoma.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Ronan is committed to giving back by providing visual medical services to underprivileged communities and participating in charitable organizations.
