After finishing my residency from BVA in 2016, I relocated to Louisville, KY where I accepted a position with Dr. Mark Lynn and Associates. I completed my fellowship with the American Academy of Optometry in the fall of 2016 shortly after finishing my training in Oklahoma. Historically, the practice I joined had focused on primary eye care, but wanted to expand and begin to incorporate more medical care. I fit that mold well and began expanding my medical presence immediately. Within the past 6 years, my medical base has grown significantly and can now occupy the majority of my schedule some days– a significant shift in practice modality.
My family has been growing ever since moving to Louisville as well. I met my now wife Meredith in Louisville shortly after moving here and got married in 2021 ( a year late thanks to COVID). We have two chocolate labs, Demi and Mila. We’ve purchased 55 acres where we have begun building our dream home and hobby farm. Finally, we are expecting our first child in October 2022!
Lastly and most importantly, since starting my optometric career and pursuing my residency with BVA, my goal has been to work within a tertiary medical eye care practice where I could practice full scope optometry. I have accepted a position with Bennett & Bloom Eye Centers in Louisville starting in November. Here I will be able to utilize all the skills and knowledge I learned from Dr. Larry Henry and the BVA team!
